Position Title: ANALYTICS AND AUTOMATION ANALYST (HYBRID-REDMOND,WA) 

Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 (to commensurate with experience)

Summary

The Automation & Applications Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications and automation solutions that support operational excellence and data-driven decision-making across client portfolios.

This role blends business engagement with hands-on development expertise, translating operational requirements into structured, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. The position will develop enterprise-grade applications, automation workflows, and system integrations across the Microsoft ecosystem and cloud platforms, ensuring solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with broader data architecture strategies.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong application development capabilities, systems thinking, and the ability to integrate operational systems with modern data platforms such as Fabric and Snowflake, delivering data in an analytics-ready state for downstream developers and analysts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core, Web APIs) or comparable enterprise backend frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring Boot).

· Build and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to support structured operational workflows.

· Develop robust automation workflows using Power Automate and related orchestration tools.

· Structure and prepare operational data for clean ingestion into Fabric and Snowflake, partnering with data teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets (consistent schemas, enforced keys, validated data types, and appropriate metadata) for efficient consumption by developers/analysts

· Design and implement APIs and system integrations across internal and external platforms.

· Architect scalable data models supporting operational systems and downstream analytics.

· Ensure application solutions enforce data integrity, validation, and business rules.

· Implement structured logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms across applications.

· Experience with—or strong passion for—AI-enabled productivity and automation, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio (agents), and Microsoft Fabric data/AI capabilities

· Proven ability to partner with stakeholders (operators, account teams, clients, leaders) to gather requirements, clarify ambiguity, and translate needs into clear, actionable deliverables and technical design.

· Develop reusable components and frameworks to promote consistency and scalability.

· Support Dev/Test/Prod environments and manage deployment processes.

· Maintain documentation of system architecture, workflows, and technical specifications.

· Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to enhance automation and application development capabilities.

Technical Qualifications

· 4+ years of experience in application development or enterprise automation.

· Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, Web APIs).

· Experience building scalable Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.

· Solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling principles.

· Experience integrating systems using REST APIs and secure authentication methods.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).

· Experience working with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and/or Snowflake.

· Understanding of data ingestion patterns, staging, merge/upsert logic, and preparing structured data for analytics consumption.

· Ability to design systems that produce clean, validated, and well-modeled datasets suitable for downstream analytics.

· Proficiency in SQL for querying, validation, and integration purposes.

· Experience implementing validation, concurrency handling, and structured error management.

· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent professional experience considered.
