Job Summary
The United Center, located near the West Side of Chicago, is the largest arena in the United States. It is home to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) and Chicago Bulls (NBA) and hosts major concerts and events throughout the year.
Position Overview:
Queenie’s Supper Club is seeking experienced Bartenders for a union, part-time, event-based position. Candidates must have open availability for all scheduled events. Bartenders provide fast, friendly, and professional bar service to guests and servers in a high-volume environment.
This is a union role with part-time, event-based scheduling. Open availability—including nights, weekends, and holidays—is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests and waitstaff
Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area
Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS orders
Follow responsible alcohol service policies
Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and inventory
Upsell menu items and engage with guests professionally
Qualifications:
Must be 21+ and follow all alcohol service laws
Strong communication, basic math, and POS skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Outgoing, team-oriented attitude and attention to detail
