Job Summary

Please note: This position is 100% nationwide travel supporting our accounts

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Respond expeditiously to calls from clinical departments, and/or customers to evaluate and rectify valid operator complaints and concerns.
Individual will maintain good personal relationships with fellow workers, nursing and medical staff, vendors, manufacturers, and the general public.
May assist in or conduct in-service educational training on the proper use and operator maintenance of equipment.
Strong work ethic and ability to work as a member of a team.
Demonstrate and reflect a commitment to the mission and values of the company.
Support new account implementations and inventory validation projects.
Perform inventory validations utilizing the Company’s inventory tools, programs, resources, and asset management software program, while ensuring inventory captured is accurate.
Assist in inventory and new account implementation plans and process improvement. Provide technical assistance and instruction to inventory team personnel regarding
inventory process, methods, and scheduling
Review outcome of physical inventories and make recommendations to project management concerning improvements.
When necessary, direct inventory team members as the onsite inventory floor lead.
Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect clinical equipment and instrumentation including life-support equipment.
Perform planned maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.
Diagnose, correct, and repair system and equipment malfunctions.
Maintain an orderly and functional working environment, ensuring tools and test equipment are calibrated and are in good working order before use, and follow the 5S methodology.
Provide technical assistance and instruction to personnel regarding equipment operations and maintenance.
Review outcome of preventive maintenance actions and make recommendations to department staff concerning improvements.
Demonstrate accountability of assigned responsibilities.
Flexibility to work augmented shifts based on the unit’s needs to meet with client’s contractual requirements.
Research and initiate orders for repair parts, working with the supervisor and/or the Technical Resource Center; demonstrate ability to effectively find second-source parts.
Provide accurate and timely database management of the CMMS in accordance with our Quality Management System and related policies and procedures.
Individual will be expected to participate in huddles, meetings, seminars, training, workshops, and conferences as required
Learn, understand, and comply with all government, regulatory, industry, company, and client Policies and Procedures, and subsequent updates.
Complete all required training (e.g., skills-based, client, work-related, certification).
Good organization and time management skills.
Maintain a rolling four-week (at a minimum) work schedule of upcoming assignments.
Track all time and travel expenses associated with each account supported; report out by the end of each month of expense transfers.
Perform other duties as assigned that are intrinsic to the successful operation of the account and the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associates degree in biomedical equipment technology, electronic equipment technology, or military training preferred. An equivalent combination of
education and experience may be substituted. Certification(s) preferred i.e., CBET, A+, etc.
Experience: Experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital, clinic or service environment.
