Catering Coordinator-Mercedes Benz Stadium

The Catering Operations Coordinator supports the successful planning, execution, and follow-up of all catered events. This role serves as the operational bridge between sales, culinary, service teams, and venue leadership to ensure seamless event delivery. The Coordinator ensures all details are accurate, communicated clearly, and executed efficiently while maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Review, interpret, and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to all operational departments.
Coordinate logistics including staffing, equipment, rentals, décor, signage, and service timelines.
Serve as the primary operational contact between Catering Sales and event execution teams.
Confirm event details with clients as needed and communicate updates to internal teams.
Update timeline and event paperwork with Operations Managers.
Create detailed event timelines and ensure adherence to service flow standards.
Assist with scheduling service staff based on event size and needs.
Attend pre-event meetings to review expectations, changes, and service standards.
Oversee event setup to ensure alignment with BEO specifications.
Monitor event execution to ensure quality, professionalism, and timeliness.
Address and resolve operational challenges in real time.
Ensure proper breakdown, equipment return, and post-event procedures are completed.
Track inventory needs related to catering operations.
Maintain organized event documentation and reports.
Support post-event evaluations and client feedback review.

Qualifications
2+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, banquet operations, or event coordination.
Strong understanding of event logistics and service standards.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to lead with professionalism and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
