Job Summary
Now Hiring: Catering Managers – Multiple Openings | New York City
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality and events? We’re expanding our team in New York City to support exciting new client partnerships and are looking for multiple Catering Managers to join our growing operation!
As a Catering Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences. You’ll oversee all aspects of catering operations—from training and supervising staff to managing event logistics and ensuring top-tier client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all catering events from start to finish.
- Coordinate logistics, quality control, sanitation, and facility operations.
- Collaborate with the Chef to design and refine menus.
- Train catering staff in service techniques, presentation, and customer care.
- Monitor labor and food costs for each event to ensure profitability.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, staff, and leadership.
- Support all foodservice-related activities and step in where needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of food service experience, including 1 year in a management role.
- Proven catering experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, or similar settings.
- Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, cost control, and presentation.
- Financial and budgeting skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- ServSafe Certification required.
