Job Summary
Summary: Manages the operations of concession stands and performs a variety of concessions duties while providing a pleasant guest experience. The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Supervisor is responsible for the initial set up of products and executing area setup and breakdown.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the operations of multiple concession stands, while assisting team members and maintaining a safe environment throughout operating hours
- Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
- Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
- Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
- Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
- Create, modify and close sales checks in point of sale.
- Understands all event paperwork and reports.
- Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
- Supervises and completes the open stand sheet and the closing stand sheet.
- Maintains service areas.
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year leadership experience.
- Ability to work all events, including: extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess or able to obtain a valid CA alcohol Responsible Beverage Service servers' permit.
- Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
- An outgoing personality is preferred.
