Director of Dining Services – Canteen
Job Summary:
At Canteen, we are redefining the dining experience through innovation, quality, and exceptional service. As a Director of Dining Services, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a dynamic dining account, driving excellence in food quality, customer satisfaction, and team performance. You will be responsible for cultivating strong client relationships, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring operational and financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of associates to deliver an outstanding dining experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with the Chef and leadership team to design innovative, high-quality menus
- Oversee all aspects of financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting, and cost controls
- Ensure consistent delivery of superior food quality, presentation, and service standards
- Drive the implementation of new culinary programs and initiatives aligned with Canteen’s vision
- Maintain compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in foodservice operations, including high-volume production and catering
- Proven experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Eagerness to grow and advance within a best-in-class foodservice organization
