Job Summary
Restaurant Associates is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Dining Services at the esteemed Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional dining experiences that complement Winterthur's rich cultural offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily dining operations, ensuring high-quality food and service standards across all venues.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, guests, and internal departments to enhance the overall visitor experience.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal trends and cater to diverse audiences.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and P&L management to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Implement new culinary programs and initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in foodservice operations, preferably in high-volume or cultural institution settings.
- Proven experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ServSafe certification required.
