Job Summary
The Microkitchen Manager is responsible for the service and experience of the operation. This role motivates, trains, develops and directs team members in delivering exceptional service and accomplishing daily goals. This position oversees the daily administrative and operational tasks required, including financial management, analysis, sanitation and safety.
The Microkitchen Manager focuses on hospitality and the MK experience for the Client's Food program in order to support operational excellence. This position reports into the General Manager and will leverage their strong hospitality and operational skills in partnership with key stakeholders (culinary, nutrition, marketing, behavioral science, concept development, procurement, risk management, operations and people approach) to execute to standards and promote the ongoing success of the program while delivering an outstanding user experience.
Responsibilities
Designs, manages and owns the overall MK experience
Sets an expectation of hospitality that is friendly and engaging
Meets all time lines for payroll, service, accounts receivables, human resources, corporate office and all other time lines given by our partner and management
Has a passion for hospitality
Hires, trains and supervises the daily conduct of the MK supervisors in their campuses.
Helps conduct staff reviews, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions.
Ensures that all hiring and training standards are met and documented for direct hires, including but not limited to new hire packet, employee/manager handbook sign off sheet, fact training completion, and safety training
Represents the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer, our partner, and employee interactions
Ensures that all comments and complaints are responded to within 24 hours
Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and service oriented manner
Communicates with the our partner honestly, accurately, and in a timely manner
Ensures that overall MK spaces meet the standards as presented by the General Manager, as well as oversees the daily appearance and upkeep of the MK
Ensure smooth rotation of snack/drinks per campus
Communicate and coordinate changes with supervisors

Qualifications
College degree or degree in HRI, or equivalent professional experience
Has a minimum of 3 years applicable experience in a like volume and quality food service establishment
Ability to demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills, a passion for hospitality, and have a proven track record as a strong leader with development of staff
Possess general hospitality knowledge
Has the ability to operate Web based ordering systems, process customer requests, changes to orders, and our partner profiles
Solid written and verbal communication skills are required; ability to navigate executive meetings and conduct client presentations
Manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to follow all Health & Safety standards
Demonstrates good judgement and decision making skills
Maintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate team
Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
ServSafe Management Certification within the past 3 years and a current local Food Handler Card required
